Message to students/parents...

I am looking forward to serving as the Guidance Counselor for Dothan 6th Grade Center. I am entering my 20th year as a Guidance Counselor for Dothan City Schools during which time I have served at elementary, middle and high schools to assist students on their educational journeys. 

Through all these years and students, my favorite reward years later is when they say "Mrs. Truitt, you still look good!"

I am a native of Dothan and a product of Dothan City Schools. My husband and I are proud parents to Cameron and Collin. We readily enjoy our time together as a family.

I am looking forward to a WONDERFUL school year!

Estoy deseando servir como Consejera Orientadora del Centro de 6.º Grado de Dothan. Estoy cumpliendo 20 años como Consejera Orientadora en las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Dothan, tiempo durante el cual he trabajado en escuelas primarias, secundarias y preparatorias para ayudar a los estudiantes en su trayectoria educativa.

A lo largo de todos estos años y con todos estos estudiantes, mi mayor satisfacción es cuando me dicen: "¡Sra. Truitt, todavía se ve bien!".

Soy originaria de Dothan y me formé en las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Dothan. Mi esposo y yo somos los orgullosos padres de Cameron y Collin. Disfrutamos mucho del tiempo juntos en familia.
